Back To School

without comments

Well, I’ve pretty much gone through my first week of classes and so far, not bad. It is a bit odd that I have classes on Friday, but I do like the fairly spread out nature of my schedule at this point.

My Computer Science teacher is very good at what he does and makes the class interesting and sometimes funny, in a geeky CS student kind of way. I am glad that I have moved my lab up in the day, because I would prefer not to have any classes that end around four.

Engineering seems ok, and even better this week because we didn’t have our lab, so I got to sleep in for a few hours. The teacher seems friendly enough, but that doesn’t mean she won’t grade hard.

Economics I really like. We don’t turn in any homework, we just do it online. The teacher adds wit and a kind of humor with his lectures, albeit some of his students probably don’t enjoy it nearly as much as I do.

Calculus is taxing because the teacher doesn’t make it very interesting, then again how can you make it interesting? I find the teacher to be friendly enough, but by the same token she is distant. However, she provides us with pdfs of the notes.

Sociology seems that it is going to be a difficult simply because of what he requires us to think of. Other than that, the class is interesting and he brings controversy to the table.

It seems all is back to normal and everyone is back in to the swing of things. I’d have to say the first week has gone alright.

Good luck with the semester.
