Vector Test
After a good eight or more hours studying, I went to take my Vector Geometry test today and managed to snag an 89% with three incorrect answers. After I got back, which was around five o’clock we went to eat dinner at Taco Bell, kind of a treat after doing all that work. When we got back, I did virtually nothing until around eleven. Then we decided to play a game of Age of Empires II. It was kind of fun, but I don’t like the pace of the game, it is much to slow for me. I recommended Rise of Nations and was immediately shot down as they prefer slower games. Fine by me, no skin off my back. Other than that, almost nothing happened today.
If anyone is reading this, I want to put in a request. Let me know about any Groupware (calendar, to-do list) software that you know about that isn’t Outlook. I am trying to find one that works for me, but the majority just dont seem to work for me.
Chelsea’s Win over Charlton and The Award Ceremony
Chelsea FC won against Charlton Athletic today one to nothing. The winning goal was made by Makelele after attempting to make a penalty shot. He caught the rebound and made his first goal ever for Chelsea. With the current point standings, Chelsea is one point shy of Manchester United’s record of 92 points.
After the game, Chelsea was awarded the trophy for winning the Premiership Title. After recieving the trophy they handed it off to the 1955 Chelsea team, which hadn’t been publicly awarded to them when they had won in 1955.

The Last and Final Program
Well, today I finished my last and final Java program for my freshman year. Kind of a relief that it is finished. We had to take our already existing program from our previous two assignments and modify it to not only create a database of examinations in memory, but to also grade the examinations. While this seems like a simple task, it gets much harder when you add in difficult formulas that are very easy to mess up and not so easy to find out where. But I turned it in and received my grade, I ended up with a 94%. I can definitely live with that.
Well, I have exams coming up, so I will probably be posting sparingly. However, after the 11th I will be free of my freshman year of college. After that I will be going to Greece for two weeks and be sans computer. I will be writing about my experiences in a notebook and I will post all about it including pictures.
Gallery Page Fully Integrated
After a lot of tinkering and quite a bit of help from the WPG2 Embedded Forum, the gallery is finally itegrated into my theme. You can get to it from the link on the top right. Expect a lot more pictures to be placed in the gallery in the future.
Cooking for the thinking man
I have to confess that I absolutely love food. I eat one particular type of food on my plate at time, make sure to keep them separated as to not combine the food if I can help it. Sure, I have heard the “it all goes down the same way” adage. While this is a completely valid statement, I think that you should enjoy the food that you eat.
So, I took note of the fact that I will be living with two other college guys in my appartment next semester. I looked around for various sites that would provide me with recipes that I would like and not to hard to prepare, or easy enough to decipher the instructions. So in my search I stumbled upon Cooking for Engineers. They have a nice selection of easy recipes with very simple, visual instructions.
I highly recommend anyone that typically can’t follow your grandma’s “just a pinch of this and that” recipes to take a look at this site. By the way, these recipes aren’t like “Easy Mac Deluxe”. Among other recipes I found Poached Fish, Prime Rib, Meat Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi and plenty more where that came from.
