I hate Saabs, or at least I used to. I hated the gen­eral design of their cars, their boxy look and feel. The unap­peal­ing front-​end and the nothing-​special rear. So why am I no longer run­ning in dis­gust from the very shadow of Saabs? Their brand new design. Appar­ently, the new design takes its cues from the 2001 9-X con­cept. I think the whole buying of indi­vid­u­al­ity didn’t work for Saab because people want to be orig­nial, but not orig­nial and ugly (I have no explan­tion for the VW Beetle). Well in fear of recev­ing threats from Auto­car Online I’m just going to post links to their site so you can take a look at Saab’s brand new look. Hope­fully they see increased num­bers with this design and con­tinue to inno­vate and evolve.
