All My Loving

without comments

The Beatles - All My Loving

Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you,
Tomorrow I’ll miss you;
Remember I’ll always be true.
And then while I’m away,
I’ll write home ev’ry day,
And I’ll send all my loving to you.

I’ll pretend That I’m kissing
the lips I am missing
And hope that my dreams will come true.
And then while I’m away,
I’ll write home ev’ry day,
And I’ll send all my loving to you.

All my loving I will send to you.
All my loving, darling I’ll be true.

Flavors

with one comment

Life is boring without flavor, Baskin Robins offers 31 different flavors. Yet, I only need one.

It must be sweet, but it also has to have a bite. It must be cool to the touch, yet it must be warm like hot chocolate.

To find a flavor you like, to pick one from the crowd, seems near impossible. How could one pick one from the masses? There are so many, and some taste incredibly bitter. Others are far too common.

We all hope to be so lucky, to find the one we want. Maybe someday, we could all find our flavors. The flavor that makes you smile no matter what kind of day you are having. The one that makes you tingle inside.

More likely though, is that the flavor will find you. It will somehow come to you, jump out at you, or ask you to try it. And when that time comes, don’t be afraid to take the risk. In the end it is all worth it.

So here is my tip: Never settle with vanilla or chocolate, when there are much more interesting flavors out there.

This is my random attempt at some form of prose. It started out as a poem, but I decided to try something different. Let me know what you think.

Switching Majors

with one comment

So, after quite a bit of contemplation about what I want to do with the rest of my life in the span of a one hour and 15 minute class I think I am going to switch majors. I am tired of programming and I don’t think I could do this for the rest of my life. So I am thinking about switching into Business Information Technology, something I have experience in. Plus, if I ever feel like it, I could go for a MBA.
