Photoblog
Yeah, I realize that I already show a lot of photos on the front page, and that I have a Flickr account. But I wanted to try out some Photoblog software for a friend and ended up just keeping it. I’ll be putting up photos at random, and it has a RSS feed if you just want to see my pictures.
A Small Measure of Photography
Decided I was going to take some pictures after Discrete today, so I dragged Stu with me as I went around campus. Headed from Robeson to West End, and from there to the D2 quad and from there we kinda lazily walked to the Barringer quad. Around there, Stu went back to his dorm and I walked back to Buruss to catch the bus. Some pretty good photos if I do say so myself.

Autumn Sun
As the autumn sun sets,
A monotone chorus sings its song.
The orchestra restlessly shuffles in the wind,
Shedding their instruments.
Squash yellows, burnt coppers, pumpkin oranges,
Seared apple reds and clay browns.
With each crisp leaf,
The piles grow taller,
The shadows grow longer.
Colorful leaves begin to lose their color,
Giving way to an orange glow,
Cast by the harvest moon.
The stars shine down through hole-punched trees,
Revealing cool ambers and solemn browns.
The moon’s tears lie on the ground,
Shed for the season to come.
For the only color will be white,
The only smell will be burning wood,
And the instruments will no longer play.
