Shindig @ She-Sha

Alright, ya’ll need to come to She-Sha cafe and listen to some pretty sweet music with Stu and I. Call me if you are interested!
Tragedy
“The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.”
- Horace Walpole
This man didn’t know how right he was.
Desolation
Surrounded by palm and frond,
Undisturbed by all but warm breeze.
The white lacquered Adirondack chair,
Has seen better days.
Worn and splintering, coat peeling.
Desolation overwhelms untouched sand,
Bits of boat here and there,
Amongst remains of five-star and villa.
Sunset casts the sand on fire,
Embers of purple, orange and red.
Calm rests on the beach,
As the sun clings to the horizon.
It too wishes the moment eternal.
The sun slips behind infinite curve.
Moon and stars freed by cool night,
Remind me beauty is everywhere.

Wanna Know How I’m Feeling?
Anyone who knows me pretty well, knows that I absolutely love music. iTunes openly mocks me claiming I have 21.7 days worth of music. Hey now, when did you stop counting in hours? Well, none the less, I typically play music that suits my mood at the time…typically. You know, every now and again when I’m feeling happy, something incredibly depressing might slip in or vice versa, but majority of the time, you can be sure that my music is a reflection of my current mood. Not like a perfect mirror, more like a poorly-made circus mirror, one that didn’t quite get the effect that the manufacturer was looking for.
Right now actually I am listening to dZihan & Kamien’s Airport, what a great song. Calm, cool and subtle; the feeling of international travel and exploration abound. Maybe it’s supposed to be Charles De Gaulle or possibly Heathrow…who knows? All I know is that I want to be there, exploring the country-side and documenting all of it with my camera.
Take a gander at my most popular tracks on Last.fm to get a good idea of my favorite music. You can go ahead and click here to see what the heck I’m talking about.
