Today, walk­ing out of Owens, I recieved a com­pli­ment. When­ever I walk out of a build­ing I always hold the door open for who­ever is behind me, it’s just common cour­tesy. Any­ways, I hold the door open for some gen­tle­men and one in the group pays me this clas­sic com­pli­ment: “You are both a gen­tle­man and a scholar, sir.” I must have a had a huge smile on my face as I pushed a “Thank you, sir,” out of my mouth. It’s amaz­ing to me that some­thing that small made my day. Thanks to who­ever you are. Have a great day.
