Classes So Far

without comments

After a semi-full (yeah, we got out on Monday because of Morva) first week, I think I’m ready for the semester. Classes seem reasonable and the teachers are pretty good. I particularly like my Quantitive Methods teacher and my Marketing Management teacher. Two completely different styles that I like. Also, homework is light so far: only assignment was a short survey I finished in about two minutes. Let’s hope this continues…

Back On Campus

without comments

Yeah, I am back in the Burg. Getting comfy in my apartment before classes start. Relaxing and just hanging out with friends that I haven’t seen in a while, it feels good. Doing a lot of reading here (tons of magazines were waiting for me). If you are back in Blacksburg and have nothing to do, call me up, we’ll hang out, it’ll be good.

Laughing in their Faces

without comments

With the terrorism plot foiled, we have stepped up our security to a liquid-free level. Yes, that means no liquids whatsoever, barring a few exceptions (formula for babies if the mother will drink it in front of the security agents). Over at The Consumerist they found a few images and decided to joke around with em. I think it’s good to keep laughing even when something like this happens, laughter is what I live for.

Whoa! Where’d Everything Go?

without comments

Hmm, seems a bit quieter around here then it used to…thats because I’m transitioning all of my more technical content and shifting it over to my new blog SwiftCobalt. I’d really like it if you could go take a gander over there as thats where my better writing will probably be.

I also plan to blog a bit more on both! Yes, two times as much writing in two times as many places! Holy smokes, this is free? Sure is.

Plus, if you are interested, I could use some spiffy writers. You know the ones who like to write and do it kinda good. If you are the kind of dry text book writer, then I recommend you apply somewhere else, but if you are the kind of person who wants to talk to who you are writing to, then go ahead and comment on this and we can work something out.
