Nicole’s House

Comments

Nathan and I went over to my sister’s house for some crabs and burgers yesterday. The crabs were good, but could have used more Old Bay and could have been bigger.

We ended up staying from 3 until midnight. We played Cranium and Scene-It, which Nathan and I won all three times.

And I obviously got a new picture of Stoley because he is just so damn photogenic.

Wedding Bells Are Ringing

Comments

No, I didn’t get married this weekend, but my sister did. She is now Mrs. Nicole Clabaugh and I am very happy for her. I believe that her husband, Nick, is one of the best possible people for her to marry. They are defintely a good and loving match. Right now they are probably out at sea on their cruise ship enjoying the tropical weather and probably having a drink or gambling. After all that they went through with the families and all of the stress of the wedding, Nick and Nicole defintely deserve every bit of their Honeymoon.

As for the ceremonies, the priest was excellent. He turned an often somber prodecure into a funny and joyous occasion. Durring his sermon he had quite a few good and relevent jokes. After the wedding, we went to the reception which had a carribean theme. There was tons of stuff on the tables, ranging from flamingo sun glasses to goody boxes that were Chinese food takeout boxes. Each table was an island in the Caribbean, such as Bahamas or St. Kitts. The DJ managed to play some Jimmy Buffett as well.

By the way, the next time you see Nicole, ask her if she is nervous.

Uninteresting Inspiration

Comments

Right now, not much is happening in my life. My sister’s birthday was today and I hope she had a good birthday. She is getting married soon enough and I have to fly up and be there for the dress rehearsal, but I have classes that day so might get there late or not at all.

I guess I have been playing video games too much in my life and I think I need a change, but to be honest with you it is hard to stop doing something so entertaining and interesting to me. However, the game has become increasingly lackluster to me. It has allowed me to get more work done, such as reading and studying.

I have about three more weeks until Spring break, when I am going to get fitted for my tuxedo for my sister’s wedding and just relax for a week. Albeit, I don’t really need the rest at this point.

This semester seems to have an easier course load, however I am not sure how the grades are going to end up. With last semester I knew I had my Linear Algebra and English classes to bump my grade up. This semester everything just seems to present itself as being more challenging and therefore harder. This also presents a much larger problem, the first semester I received a 3.4 GPA, therefore I must always do better than this. So, I really have to work on studying and working harder on certain things.

I am still wondering about my major choice. Every time I start to wonder what else I could be doing, I get back to the fact that I like the coding aspect, knowing that that program is mine, or that I worked on it.
