This is Payton, my girlfriend’s foster dog. Yes, those eyes will melt damn near about anyone’s heart and guess what? She’s pregnant…very preg­nant — she is due any hour now. Many thanks go out to the people who adopted her from the foster pro­gram. Because of them, her pup­pies won’t be euthana­sized and they will be taken care of along with their momma.

Took this shot just before I left for Blacks­burg. That’s my mom’s very indif­fer­ent cat, Zinnia. She’s pretty mellow and loves sit­ting in the gar­dens around our house. I think she’s sit­ting under­neath some basil in this pic­ture.
