But then again, Boston College (even with Matt Ryan) are probably NOT a top 10 team - they showed this! And Matt Ryan showed that he is NOT a viable Heisman trophy candidate. ...but the media love him for whatever reason!!! In the prior VT game, for some reason, the VT defense just lost their focus in the last 2 minutes, and lost the game. And this helped fuel the frenzy that Matt Ryan was great!! (not) But there is a BIG difference between (a.) being on the field when the other team loses, and (b.) being the reason that your team wins. Matt Ryan experienced the former on that Thursday night that HE was such a "success". He is clearly NOT the reason that they won. Last I looked, football was a team sport, and it is to the credit of the Hokies that there are ALWAYS multiple reasons, plays and players (and coaches) that enable them to win!
